We know that coming to a church for the first time also comes with many questions. Here is our best attempt to guess what questions you might have the first time you come to JVBC.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
You will see people wearing everything from jeans to suits. Our concern is not what is on the outside, but what is on the inside. If you are wondering, our staff is usually in business casual.
WHERE DO I PARK?
Our worship center is the building on our campus that sits closest to Hwy. 290. When you enter the parking lot at the cross, there will be two parking lots (one on your right and one on the left). The one on the right services our children's building.
YOUR CAMPUS IS HUGE, HOW WILL I FIND MY WAY AROUND?
If you click here, you will see a campus map that directs you to different areas of JVBC. There is a welcome center in our worship center (His House) and our children's building. If there is anything you can't find, look for a friendly face or a greeter at the sanctuary entrances. Our members would be more than willing to help you out.
DO YOU OFFER BIBLE STUDY ON SUNDAY MORNINGS?
Yes, we have connection group Bible studies each Sunday morning. The primary purpose of these groups is to connect with others in community and to connect to God through studying His Word. Click here for a list of classes.
IS THERE ANYTHING FOR MY CHILDREN?
We have always been a church that values families, especially school age children. JVBC also puts great value in families worshiping together, so our children begin to attend worship in first grade. Our preschool classes offer dynamic teaching and activities during both the worship hour and Bible study hour.
