Jeff
Moran | Acting Pastor

Jeff is
our Acting Pastor, though this title
doesn't begin to tell how much he brings to JVBC. He is in his
tenth year of ministry at JVBC and has also served churches
in Crockett, Texas and Birmingham, Alabama. His wife of twenty-three
years is Marcy Moran. They have two boys - Adam, who is at Baylor University, and Zach, who is at Jersey Village High School. |

Chris
Curran | Pastor of Discipleship

Chris is our Pastor of Discipleship. He has a wife named Brooke and
two daughters (Carly and Allie). For the most part, all his
free time outside of church is spent running after these two
small ones. His other passion is Baylor University, especially
athletics. Sic em bears. |

Scott Shelton | Minister to Students

Scott has been on staff since July 2009. He previously worked as the Minister to Students & Families at First Baptist Church of Lorena. He holds a bachelor degree in Business Marketing with a minor in Management from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University. Scott grew up in the NW Houston area and was baptized here at JVBC in the 8th grade. He married Stephanie May 2003 and they have two children, Macy and Lincoln. Scott’s office is always open so feel free to stop by!

Heather
Mooney | Associate Minister to Students

Heather joined the
staff in May 2005. She graduated in 2000 with a BA from Houston
Baptist University. She was a part of the Student Ministry here
when she was in high school and taught Sunday School while she
was in college, so it feels natural for her to work with the ministry
she's played a part in over the years. Heather is excited about the
new ministries we're launching for the students and can't wait
to watch them grow in their faith. |

Elaine Pendergrass | Minister to Preschool/Children

Elaine loves children and teaching. She earned a B.S. in Elementary Studies and a M.A. in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. Part of her professional life has been in public schools, both teaching and leading teachers. She has also worked extensively with children in the church setting. She has a passion for teaching and learning and looks forward to seeing children learn things of eternal value. She has a wonderful husband, David, who recently earned his Ph. D. in Historical Theology. Their son’s name is Hayden, and their daughter's name is Julia. Both add immense joy to their lives. |

Shanna Hall | Associate Minister to Preschool/Children

Shanna is the Associate Minister to the Preschool/Children's Ministry (a.k.a. SPLASH). Children give her great joy! It is her mission to make a difference in each child's life. Shanna is married to her high school sweetheart, Jeff, and they have two boys: Kyle and Cameron. Shanna and her family are excited to be a part of the JVBC team! |

Guerra | Facilities Director

Paul Guerra
is our Facilities Director. He was previously the Facilities
Manager at St. Martin's Episcopal Church and Second Baptist
West Campus. He and his wife, Teri, have four daughters, Lauren, Kelcee, Heather, and Morgan. |

Luedeker | Financial Director

LeAnn joined
the Jersey Village staff in January of 2004 as Financial Director.
She received her accounting degree from Texas A&M in 2001.
LeAnn is a Certified Public Accountant. She and her husband, Luke, have two children, Hope and Jack. |
