JVBC Care Team

The Care Team® Ministry is a partnership between Jersey Village Baptist Church and Interfaith Ministries Care Partners®. We have developed a team to provide an in-home secondary support system for parishioners and neighbors with special needs. We also provide support for their care givers. Divorce Care

Divorce Care is an ongoing ministry providing counsel and support for those who are in the process or have gone through divorce. You will hear concepts that can help you heal from your separation and divorce. You will hear that Christ can help you put all the pieces of your life back together again. Our prayer is that you will heal, and in the process, come to know the love of an intimate relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Childcare is available. Our next group will begin meeting in Fall 2011.

Women - Christ Centered Support Group

This is a great opportunity for women to join a Christ-centered small group to deal with life's hurts, habits and hang-ups. If you are at a place where you need a small group of women to walk beside you, this might be the care group for you. Meeting is on Wednesdays at 6:15 PM in C103.Contact Terry Medina at:  terrywmedina@gmail.com.  

Common Grounds

“I thought I was the only one struggling”

Care giving affects our congregation’s families.  It is often called, “the job you didn’t apply for.”   In response to the myriad challenges which care giving brings, Jersey Village Baptist Church has partnered with Interfaith CarePartners® to provide a program called Common Ground: Caregiver Conversations.  Jersey Village Baptist Church hosts the Common Ground meeting every third Sunday from 5:00 pm until 6:30pm in room C-105. The meeting provides a place for caregivers to meet, share what it's like for them, connect with other caregivers, and learn about resources, etc. Contact Jeff Moran at jmoran@jvbc.org.
