The Living Tree program exists to honor and remember loved ones through donations that go toward the purchase of hardwood trees to be planted on the Jersey Village Baptist Church property. This program also takes the place of individuals purchasing altar flowers for Sunday services in the Worship Center.

Gifts in memory or in honor of an individual will be recognized on the donor’s contribution statement and the honoree or honoree’s family will receive a card to inform them of the gift. A list of donors will also be listed on the JVBC website (click here). No announcements or personal comments will be listed in the weekly church bulletin. There will be no plaques on trees. The staff of JVBC will purchase trees as funds are available, and they have sole discretion in their placement.

JVBC members can designate “Living Tree” on their offering or contact LeAnn Luedeker or Sandra Lankford at 713.466.6102 to contribute to the fund or for more information. This donation is tax deductible.

After years of planning and preparing, construction began for our new Worship Center on Tuesday, November 27.  Click here to watch a video of the trees coming down, or go to hishouse.jvbc.org to see a live video feed of the construction site.  (NOTE: To view the live video feed, you may have to download ActiveX Control on your computer.)
We have a wide variety of Bible studies and classes for all ages and interests available for you at JVBC. Click here for a list of classes offered. For childcare reservations, contact Elaine Pendergrass at 713.329.2804 or ependergrass@jvbc.org.

Donations of new and up-to-date used books are always welcome.  However, space does not permit us to accept audio and video tapes.

Church members can now log in to our system through Access ACS.  Click on the Member Login button to the left to view and submit changes to your personal records that we have on file.  You can also see a list of your Sunday School class and any other groups that you're in.   Note: Each member will set up a unique password to log in to their account.
